Make sure the seller receives their funds and verify all payoffs and invoices are paid
Now that everything is signed, we will start working on funding your transaction. If there is a lender involved they will typically require us to send a copy of the documents to them to review before they will release their funds. After everyone has signed, we have all the funds, and collected all the invoices to be paid out, now we can send everyone their money. Yay! We will send you a secured email with the documents you signed as a notice that everything is “closed and funded”. If you are using an agent this is typically when possession is transferred, the seller gets their funds, and the buyer gets the keys. This feels like the end of the road for you but we still have one more step… I will go over what happens in post closing in the next video.
