Collect all the necessary documents
Once we have the search back and have created the title commitment, this is when the information gathering begins. We will send a request to the seller asking for some vital information like: SSN, marital status, HOA and payoff, if any. We will gather these invoices along with any others that are to be paid at closing, like a home warranty invoice, realtor commission sheets, and any repairs that may have been required from the inspection. Once we have all this info we will prepare the settlement statement and it’s about time to sign… as explained in the next video.
